Prep Time: 5m | Cook Time: 5m | Servings: 4-6

Ingredients

Peanut Powder

  • 1 cup roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Sesame Powder

  • 1/3 cup crushed black sesame
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Muah Chee Dough

  • 3/4 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 2 tsp caster sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

Crush peanuts in a food processor. Mix with caster sugar and salt in a bowl. Set aside. If making sesame powder, combine all ingredients in a separate small bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix all the Muah Chee dough ingredients together. Microwave for 3 minutes, stirring halfway through. The mixture should start to set.

Use a wet spoon to mix it well, then microwave for another minute. Stir again, and the mixture should be thick and gooey.

Grease two teaspoons with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking. Scoop dollops of the Muah Chee dough and roll them into the peanut or sesame powder mixture using the spoons.

Coat each piece generously in the powder, and serve with toothpicks immediately!
