Preheat oven to 240ºC
In a large mixing bowl, mix Flour, Salt, Sugar, Bicarb together.
Add butter and rub until flour is fine again and is crumbly. It'll feel like there's nothing wet in the mix yet, and the mixture should hold together when you squeeze a clump in your fist, but should crumble into fine dust very easily.
Add all the wet stuff and mix with a spoon until well combined.
Lightly flour your countertop and turn dough out onto the counter.
Roll dough into a ball, and add a generous pinch of flour at a time, if the dough is at all sticky.
Using a rolling in, roll the dough out to about 3/4 of an inch thick and use a cookie cutter to cut out scones until all the dough is used up (or if you are cool like me, a glass cup).
Bake for 6-10 minutes, and keep an eye on them so they don't burn, the oven temperature is a lot higher than for usual baking!
